Camino is the unification of the important work of Carizon Family & Community Services, Monica Place and KW Counselling.

Our mission is to support individuals and families as they work to strengthen their wellbeing and mental health.

Over 16,500 people served last year

8 locations across Waterloo Region

Camino offers a variety of programs across the mental health continuum, from prevention services to intensive treatment.

We serve people of all ages and backgrounds. We strive to deliver equitable programs and services and have interpretation available for anyone who needs it.

Our services are offered on a sliding fee scale which means no one is ever turned away, because of an inability to pay for services. And this is only possible because of the support provided by our community of supporters

Did you know that September is Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Awareness Month?

Children and youth with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), often struggle to succeed in the mainstream education system. The good news is that with some specific accommodations they can learn and thrive in an educational setting and get what they need to be set up for their transition to the world of work. A key part of our Fort and Temenos program is self-advocacy! Watch this video about living with FASD, created with the help of the children and youth in our programs.
