Creative Connections

For youth ages 11-13 that reside in the Waterloo Region

Creative Connections is an 8-week group for youth ages 11–13 that focuses on building self-awareness, self-confidence, and healthy connections with others through creative art expression.

Through individual projects, journaling with guided reflective prompts, and group discussion, participants will develop greater confidence in themselves while learning to connect authentically with peers.

The creative process offers a safe and engaging way for youth to express emotions, celebrate their uniqueness, and build a stronger sense of belonging and connection.

No artistic experience is required – the focus is on self-expression, creativity and personal growth rather than on artistic skill.
