Community Resource Program (CRP)

The Community Resource Program (CRP) supports caregivers of children and youth ages 4–17 by helping them build confidence and skills to respond to their child’s mental health needs.

Families work with a Community Resource Worker to better understand their child’s needs. Support may include:

  • connections to mental health and community services
  • parenting support and guidance
  • help navigating available resources
  • strategies to support children and youth at home, school, and in everyday life

Services are flexible and typically last 3–6 months. Meetings can take place at home, at Camino, in the community, or virtually.

If additional treatment is needed, families may also be connected to other services and programs.

To get started, please contact Front Door Mental Health.

Polaris

Our Polaris program is an intensive service for families with children ages 5–12 who may be experiencing significant mental health challenges or complex needs.

The team works closely with families to help children feel safer, more regulated, and better supported at home and in their community.

Families work alongside a team that may include a Family Navigator and Family Support Worker to better understand their child’s strengths and needs, build practical strategies, and create a plan that works for their family.

Support may include referrals for specialized assessments, such as psychology, occupational therapy, or speech and language, as well as short-term therapy through Camino when needed.

Meetings usually take place in the family home, but meetings can also happen at Camino, in the community, or virtually, when appropriate.

Families may work with the Polaris team for 12–18 months, depending on their needs.

Referrals are made through Front Door – Children’s Mental Health Systems Advisor.
